Stroller

After my son was born, walking in the neighborhood became a very regular activity in my life. Two to three times a day we would walk with the stroller down to the park a mile from the house. During these walks, I would talk and sing to him and found beauty along our path.

When I look at these images, I think of growing up and of my own childhood in North Carolina at my home with a basketball hoop in the back. I wonder what kind of mother I will be and what kind of life my son will have. In Stroller, I feel a sense of letting go, and taking hold of something new.
