The Current State of Things

 Living with a two-year-old is hard. I'm never sure how much sleep I will get, whether my morning will be quiet or very loud, and what I will find lying around the house. After I've dropped my son off at daycare and before I go to work, I walk through the house and pick up. These are the things that I've found that are somehow beautiful and perfect. In the chaos of my life right now, I am finding these found still life images that are unexpected and wonderful. A little bit like parenthood itself. They show the current state of things.
